The Arbor Company provides full service development, management, and marketing services in the field of housing for the elderly.
Job Description
- Reports to senior management
- Prepares and submits financial and operational reports in a timely and accurate manner to management
- Trains and supports accounts receivable and accounts payable personnel
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries for monthly close
- Prepare financial and operating reports
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Analyze and interpret accounting records for management
- Assist management in preparation of annual budgets
- Prepare audit works papers for external auditors annually
- Develop and promote internal controls and processes to ensure accuracy and consistently in data used internally/externally for decision making


Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, CPA Preferred
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience
- Software: Sage 100
- Competencies: This position requires strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and organizational skills. Due to our changing environment, candidates must be extremely flexible and willing to meet and exceed expectations with consistency. Work from home consideration will be given to those in the Atlanta metro area.
- GAAP: 3 years (Preferred)
