At Arbor Terrace Citrus Park, we are seeking an energetic, creative, self-directed Activities Director (Director of Engagement). In this position, you will be responsible for implementing, supervising, and participating in activities in our community. Other responsibilities will be to conduct individual and group engagement activities for residents as well as assist with special community events; plan and coordinate activities; maintain the monthly calendar of activities and events that provide a variety of resident and family-centered experiences; prepare the monthly newsletter; supervisor volunteers in setting up/taking down activities supplies and props, and engage with the residents on a one on one basis.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for working with active senior adults; be comfortable, creative, upbeat, positive, and happy in working with groups of people; and have at least one-year job-related experience preferably in a senior living environment. NCCAP Certification or MEPAP Certification preferred.
